Mark Gibbens

President & Chief Investment Officer

Mark Gibbens is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Gibbens Capital Management. With an extensive background across varying investment environments, Mark brings a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets to every client relationship. In addition to working directly with clients, Mark is an active speaker for professional groups and industry associations, and he frequently serves as a resource for financial media outlets. His insights have been featured in publications including CNBC, Bloomberg, and MarketWatch, among others. Mark has also served in industry leadership positions including as Past President of the Kansas City Society of Financial Service Professionals as well as being selected by the Kansas City Business Journal to its Leadership Trust.

Mark earned his BA from the University of Oklahoma and his MBA from the University of Kansas. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations as well as being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Outside of work, Mark enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
